Family Bible Submitted By: Mervin D. Peters. The Bible is in possession of the First Baptist Church of Bryan Library.

The Eaves Family Bible was published in 1868 and was owned and used by William Bartlett Eaves and his wife Permelia Ann Pruitt Eaves until between 1895 and 1905 (the dates of their deaths) when it began passing down through the family to currently unidentified members when it was given to First Baptist Church of Bryan.

The earlier generation family information is thought to have been mostly added by Rev. Eaves and/or his wife and the later generation information added by a descendant of Archibald Howard Eaves as those additions are exclusively his descendants and families.
